This new jacket from BEAMS looks like the experimental outcome of turning a jean jacket into a hoodie and then washing it to accelerate the fades. And tell you what, it looks pretty good. The reinforced seams have started to lighten in colour and show off the extensive stitching throughout the garment while the body fabric has maintained an even shade of blue.

The elasticated cuffs and hem have achieved a roping effect from the washing – reminiscent of the desired effect in vintage denim. Metal zip front closure and pockets also add a durable hardware touch, ready for repeated use.
