adidas and Australian fashion label Song For The Mute (SFTM) deliver the next instalment to their ongoing partnership. The collaborators turn their sights to the Superstar 82 and rework the iconic silhouette with some distinct details.

SFTM adds metal eyelets to the Superstar – an uncommon detail for the model – and extends the lacing into the rubber toe cap. The upper swaps its smooth leather upper for suede, a material SFTM has used throughout their adidas partnership. Because the upper is thin and the lining slimmed down, the silhouette has a degree of collapsible ‘flop’ to it for a natural look. Co-branded tags complete the package.
